January 25th – Block Hole
Jump into an inescapable spacetime pull of the “Block Hole” — a whole block, that is. That’s right, we will cycle an entire block loop before being sucked into the Cascadian Courier Collective Falling Sky X CCC Release Gathering for after beers. Meet at the Falling Sky Brewing Pour House & Delicatessen (790 Blair) at 7:00pm this Wednesday, January 25th for our .28 mile winter cupcake ride.
November 16th – Flanders’ ‘stache
Hi-dilly-ho neighborinos, it’s Movember, so let’s tizzy and zizzy down old streets of Eugene in the shape of neighbor Ned’s soup strainer. We’ll commune at the Tap & Growler at 7pm this Wedaley-wednesday and sally forth. It’ll be okaley dokely!

September 29th – 1860 Electoral Map (Abstract)
Before “Fore score and seven years ago…” it was Lincoln v. Breckinridge v. Douglas v. Bell…I think we all remember how the 1860 presidential race panned out, Oregon’s first participation in the Electoral College. In the spirit of the season, let’s right this old electoral college map. We’ll meet outside of the Red Barn Grocery in the Whitaker at 6:30pm this Thursday and ride out to Claim 52 Brewing (1030 Tyinn St, Eugene) in West Eugene. We’ll complete the shape on the way back.

Happy summer’s peak! Clip in and join us ride the Mt. Hood Tour de Shapes on Saturday, August 13th out to Agrarian Ales in Coburg. We’ll start from Arriving by Bike (on Willamette) at 10:30 and head out to Coburg. Now does that peak your interest?! On belay?

June 7th – Formal Matrimeowny
Kate and Ross are getting married this week! So cough up your hairballs and join these two furballs for a celebration of marriage group bicycle ride-the Matrimeowny ride! We’ll meownt our bikes at 7pm from Ninkasi Brewing Co.’s Tasting Room and trace the fur! Pints will support Friends of Buford Park & Mt. Pisgah. Invite a friend, everyone is welcome! Formeowl attire encouraged!

May 12th – Oregon Trail
Set your axles and pull the reins, it’s May is Bike Month and time for Bike in Shapes’ Oregon Trail ride. We’ll meet on top the Autzen Footbridge at 7pm on Thursday, May 12th and pioneer over through Springfield to the Claim 52 Abbey at Sprout regional food hub (418 A Street). Thanks to the wonderful folks at the Abbey for hosting us.
There are so many other wonderful bike events and commute challenges this month–so have fun and rock your helmet hair.
April 21st – Periodic Table Redux
“Fe” your lab coat and “O” your tires as we geek out to the Periodic Table shape. We’ll start from The High Street Cafe at 7pm this Thursday.
March 31st – The Big & Little Dipper Redux
When I dip and you dip we dip! Let’s all ride the Big Dipper and then follow the “north star” down Lincoln St. to the Little Dipper on the river. We’ll meet outside The Cider House at WildCraft Cider Works at 7pm this Thursday.
February 18th – The Brain Redux
This Thursday, get inside the mind of Bike in Shapes. Node to node, cortex to cortex, let’s bike the Brain, from the new Coldfire Brewery (263 Mill Street) at 7pm. Sun or grey matter, be there!
